Create a Vision Board

We are constantly accomplishing goals - big and small, whether we are conscious of it or not. Paying off a car loan or graduating college, getting to the gym after a long day at work - these are all goals: victories that have happened because of action taken.

Are you aware that these results are not by chance, and that you have control over them? Do you want to use your personal power to just go through the daily motions of life or is it time to own it?

“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.” -Oprah Winfrey

Vision Boards

I love a good craft night, but I knew this project was too special to do alone! I wanted to gather our group of my people together to make vision boards! We added in essential oils, gluten free cupcakes, and had ourselves a night - chatting about dreams, goals, and all that we wanted to accomplish in the future.

I had never made a vision board before but knew they were a valuable tool in manifesting. So I begin my process by listening to The Secret on Netflix - which I highly recommend (based on the book by Rhonda Byrne). The summary is that what we accomplish in life is a direct result of what we envision for ourselves. Do you see yourself as successful, happy, and loved? Our life is what we what we want it to be, and our mind is a valuable tool to getting us there.

“Decide what you want, believe you can have it, believe that you deserve it, believe that it’s possible for you. Close your eyes, visualize that you have it, feel what it’s like to have it, be grateful for what you have and trust that it is meant for you.” - The Secret

Host a Vision Board Night

Gather a group of your girlfriends, or grab a seltzer and some old magazines because we are going to get creative! The goal is to create a visual element to organize and display images that will aid in the manifestation process. When you see the objects of your desire, and imagine what it would be like to bring them to life, these positive emotions will attract what it is you long for from the universe. When you visualize, you materialize

  1. Write it down. Whatever it is you want. Put pen to paper, and organize your thoughts, goals, and dreams.

  2. Look through old magazines and catalogues for words or images that can be used as visual representation on your board.

  3. Choose a way to display these chosen items. It doesn’t have to be a piece of poster board hung to the wall. It can be a framed picture, or a journal. Whatever fits you.

  4. Organize and attach the pieces to your Vision Board, and display it where you will be in direct contact with it every single day.

  5. When you see it, use it to envision that what is on the board is already your reality, and let the universe lead the way.
